St. Ignatius is the Catholic Church and school (K-8) for the town of Marthasville. This is the region north-eastwards to Highways D&T, north to Highway CC and westwards to the county line. The community was settled in the 1840's and welcomes newcomers to the Parish and to the school.  Many parishioners are active in the life of the wider Marthasville community.

Emmaus Homes Chapel

<>Built in 1909 at the top of the hill, the Emmaus Chapel  emphasizes to the passersby the foundation of the Emmaus community.  Though not an organized congregation, Emmaus Home clients and staff worship each Sunday in this handicapped accessible building.  All are welcome to tour the site (call to schedule) or to worship.

Immanuel United Church of Christ-Holstein

Lunch Ministry is offered the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 11:30 AM.

Located in the village of Holstein, Immanuel’s first services were held in 1833 in a small log schoolhouse.  The church was known at that time as TheGermanEvangelical Church ofCharrette. The first Christmas program was presented on December 26, 1848. It was saidto be the first of its kind with a candlelit tree, homemade ornaments and presents for the children.  The church as it stands today was built in 1884. A Hinners pipe organ was installed in 1909 and is still used in services today.

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ

The German Evangelical Church, St. Paul’s U.C.C. was established in Marthasville, in 1863. The church now in use was dedicated in 1906 and the parsonage in 1914.  In 1963 an educational building was added.  This church and educational building now serves the community with various activities for children to seniors.

St. Vincent DePaul Church and School-Dutzow

Sunday morning Mass: 7:30 AM and 10:00a.m.

St. Vincent’s School  provides a program of Catholic education for children in grades K-8th from Dutzow, Marthasville, and Augusta area. The Jesuit Fathers came regularly to Dutzow in 1839 as a missionary activity. The present and third church was built in 1874.  All the bricks were made by parishioners and it was dedicated in the fall of 1875.
